We’ve always been about pushing boundaries and challenging the limits of conventional thinking. It was true back in 1991 when we launched Summerlin, and it’s true today (+/– 17,000 acres and over 100,000 residents later) as we get ready to shift into a higher gear and embark on the final piece of the Summerlin plan.
We’re moving, literally and figuratively, into new territory. Over 5,000 acres of high desert framed by the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and La Madre Mountain Wilderness Area. Spanning the spectrum from vibrant urban living to big nature. From accessible, traditional homes to spectacular estates at the edge of protected open space.

Named one of Money magazine’s “Best Places to Live” in 2014, Summerlin is a boom town within a boomtown. Community growth has paralleled the growth of Las Vegas—from a national casino mecca to global entertainment and business destination. The Golden Knights have brought the NHL to our city and our community. And with the addition of the Las Vegas Raiders and our very own Triple-A team, the Aviators, in their brand new stadiums, Las Vegas is becoming a sports town on the rise. Village: Beyond the urban core, to the west, the community will open up to a variety of large villages, each with its own unique natural features and points of interest.
District: These distinct character districts are organized around a vibrant urban core. The closer to the core, the higher the residential density and the more town-like the ambiance. Located on the east side of Summerlin West, they are the first areas planned for development in the community.
Neighborhood: Within the villages and districts, smaller areas will emerge, unified by their own character and landmarks. These neighborhoods will help break down the scale of the community into friendly, identifiable places with a clear sense of address.
Urban Core: The land dedicated to Summerlin West’s urban core will be developed in harmony with the needs of its neighbors – interesting places between home and the office that invite you to stop, hang out, catch up with friends, a quiet corner to do some work, a vibrant square, or maybe even a place to call home. Taking “town” to a higher level, the urban core will be an original and lively town center easily accessible from the trails and parks just outside your back door. Think of it as the yin to Downtown Summerlin’s yang. A new destination with its own identity borne from its unique location.
REDPOINT
Located along the northern border of Far Hills Drive, Redpoint district is a key gateway into Summerlin West, boasting eight new single-family neighborhoods from a handful of Summerlin’s prestigious homebuilders, including Woodside, Toll Brothers, Taylor Morrison, Lennar, Pardee, and Pulte. Each neighborhood will feature a contemporary take on traditional Spanish architecture with Summerlin’s hallmark pedestrian connections to open space and shaded street-side trails.
REDPOINT SQUARE
Immediately north of Redpoint, you’ll find Redpoint Square, featuring a blend of single-family attached and detached homes from builders including Richmond American Homes, KB Homes, Toll Brothers, Taylor Morrison, Lennar, and Woodside.
